Terms of Use & End User License Agreement

Welcome to The Tool Library ("App"), operated by Cesar Contreras ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, as well as the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

User-Generated Content

You may post content including tool listings, community posts, photos, and messages ("Content"). You agree that your Content will not:

• Be offensive, abusive, harassing, or threatening
• Contain illegal, harmful, or objectionable material
• Violate any third-party rights
• Be spam or misleading
• Involve dangerous or illegal activity

Users who post abusive, illegal, fraudulent, or inappropriate content may have their content removed and accounts suspended or terminated without notice. We reserve the right to:

• Remove any Content that violates these Terms
• Issue warnings to the account holder
• Suspend the account temporarily (1–90 days)
• Permanently ban the account

All moderation actions are logged and all reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Tool Borrowing & Lending

• Borrow only tools you intend to use lawfully
• Return tools in the same condition as received
• You are responsible for any damage or loss
• Lenders must accurately represent tool condition
• Commercial rental is prohibited

Assumption of Risk

Using borrowed tools carries inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from your use of borrowed tools. The Tool Library is not liable for any such claims.

Pricing

The App is free to use. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or fees to borrow or lend tools.

Reporting & Moderation

We provide mechanisms to report and block users and content on every screen where user-generated content appears. To report content, tap the ⚑ Report button or ⋮ menu on any post, listing, or profile.

We will review reports within 24 hours and act on confirmed violations by removing offending content and suspending or terminating responsible accounts.

To block a user, tap 🚫 Block on any profile or ⋮ menu. Blocking prevents the blocked user from contacting you and hides their content from your feed.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account. All your data will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms without notice.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Tool Library shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
